For the last few years, I've been volunteering for a great mental health charity based in the North-West of Ireland called Havin' a Laugh. Havin' a Laugh was founded in 2013 by Blaithin Sweeney who wanted to promote positive mental health through life-enhancing activities.
Autumn is upon us again, and it'd the time of year to get out into your garden and plant some beautiful Spring flowering bulbs.

I was delighted to attend OCN Level 2 Tour Guide Training recently run by Cuilcagh Lakelands Geopark and the Lough Erne Landscape Partnership. This course was perfect for me as I love exploring Fermanagh and Cavan and learning about the geology, history, folklore of the Global Geopark in the area where I live.
It amazes me, even though I was bought up beside a beach on the North West coast of Ireland, I did not know that sea glass existed until I spent a lovely Summer afternoon by the sea with my neighbour Ciara.
In Ireland, people say that you can experience four different seasons of weather in one day, and that's true, but the Autumns here are beautiful especially when you're lucky enough to catch a bit of sun.

Cuilcagh Boardwalk Trail near Belcoo, Co. Fermanagh, has gotten extremely popular over the last couple of years, not only for its famous “steps to heaven” social media posts, but also for the wonderful bog-land habitat it traverses, and great views of the surrounding areas.
In today's fast-paced world, I think we're all looking for ways to slow down and reconnect with ourselves, others and nature.
